Tall Ship, San Francisco

I took this in August 2004, while on vacation. When my friends and I decided to stop in San Francisco for a couple of days, we had no idea we'd see this majestic old ship.

OK, this picture just cracks me up! I took this in Costa Rica, on vacation with good friends. Before we almost randomly came across the resort we were looking for (still don't know how we did that), we were delayed by this rather ambivalent cow....

Yosemite Falls

I like the texture in this picture but it's too bad it was late in the summer. The waterfall is much more impressive in the spring.

Grey

The cloudy grey sky and the waves in this picture remind me of winter, which is interesting since I took the picture in early July.

A typical afternoon here in the El Porto area of Manhattan Beach...

Ebb and Flow

Although it's a static image, I think you get a sense of the movement of the waves on the beach in this picture.

Here's the same pic without the subtle colors...not sure which one I like better...

The colors in this picture aren't as dramatic as some of the others but I like the subtlety.

This photo isn't the most dynamic but I like the peaceful feeling it has.
